We have decided to postpone my Wildlife Photography Workshop Trip to ZooTampa until the Spring when we are better able to advertise it through the Polk Museum of Art. If you would like to be notified when it will happen, please let me know.
I went to Clearwater Beach last night to take photos of lightning over the Gulf of Mexico. Unfortunately there were no storms as predicted so I only got these few shots.
A few weeks ago I decided to buy the Sigma 150-600mm f/5.6-6.3 Art lens as my 50th birthday present to myself. This lens is used for wildlife because you can reach out can get close to the animals without getting disturbing them. These are a few of the photo I recently took at ZooTampa and Lake Morton in Lakeland. More of my wildlife photos are found HERE.
Every photographer needs to work on personal projects occasionally to keep them motivated. For a long time I have wanted to do a series of photos of churches, synagogues, mosques and other houses of worship. Eventually I would like to make this into a book and put together a circulating exhibit to go along with it. As I work on this project over the next few years you can see the photos HERE.
