The photos below show my living room, which is my studio and is the size of a one car garage. A separate utility room holds my wood lathe and welding setup. Half of the laundry room has also been claimed for my Bamboo P1S 3D printer and shelves of filament. In the kitchen, the oven/stove were removed to make room for my grinders which sit on a tool chest.
I designed and built the workbench below as my final project in the Advanced Wood Technology class at Appalachian State University. It is made from southern maple and cherry. Even though my studio is small, I was able to crame in a ton of tools in it, including a Jet 14 inch bandsaw, Ryobi 10 inch sliding table table Saw, Kobalt 10 inch sliding compound miter saw, Bosch benchtop router table with a 3.25 HP Triton router, Craftsman floor model drill press, 13 inch DeWalt planer, 12 inch benchtop jointer, Ridgid horizontal belt sander, scroll saw, Festool cordless track saw, Wen wood lathe, Yeswelder combo Arc/MIG/TIG welder, Powertec dust collector, and DeWalt dust extractor and practically every cordless tool you can think of, mostly Makita.
